Brown University On-Line Czech Literary Anthology Antologie českých literárních textů Univerzity Brownovy elcome. This site is an annotated anthology of selected Czech literary texts. It currently provides 22 texts, accompanied by audio files in Czech and other tools for reading. The anthology is a product of on-going collaborative research in discourse analysis, literary theory, and instructional technology. The philosophy behind this anthology can be found in the User's Guide; the guide also includes suggestions for teachers and students on how to use the anthology. The project has been partly funded by several grants, from Brown University and external funding sources. Notes on Technology The site is designed to run on Internet Explorer, on either Mac or Windows, with frames enabled. The site will not run correctly on Netscape Navigator. Set Internet Explorer's character set to Windows-1250 and font to a Central European shrift. The default is Times. QuickTime 5 is required to play the audio. Site navigation is by selection below.
